About The Event

Created by Industry Executive Henry “BLAQ” Butler & Larry O. Williams Jr, the panel & workshop aims to inform participants of the requisite skills of a working professional actor or actress, as well as allow them to connect with working professionals on both a local and international level. In doing so, we will simultaneously create a network of passionate local talent, thereby burgeoning the inception of impeccably trained and seasoned local industries which will feed the industry at-large.

The Panel

The Pilot Season Prep Panel features Casting Director Leah Daniels-Butler, Filmmaker Ka’Ramuu Kush, Emmy Winning Talent Executive Larry O. Williams Jr., and Marketing specialists, Reid Rich. Although workshops rarely offer real opportunities for success, it is our aim to not only educate, but also to facilitate it!

The Workshop

The workshop consists of a Five (5) hour panel style workshop centered on a series of topics we feel are of value, as well as interest, to aspiring actors. An actor’s bottom line is finding a way to secure paid work. Thus, our topics focus on the successful submission process and utilization of networking, representation, and unions. We believe that this course offering will be not only informative but transformative. Panel attendees have the option to perform a monologue in front of our Professional panel and receive notes and critiques from them. Additionally, panelists will also have the option of having their materials, consisting of headshot, reel, and resumes reviewed and notes given by accredited and licenses Talent Reps.
